GEBR. KRAAN BV FISH SMOKERS
Four generations of Gebr. Kraan have been smoking fish the traditional way since 1890. Over the past few years, we have combined our traditional workmanship with highly advanced processing techniques, such as pickling, smoking, filleting and packing. This is done in accordance with the stipulated quality controls and without the use of synthetic additives. That is why our fish tastes ‘naturally delicious’.
IFS: International Food Standard
Gebr. Kraan think that food safety and an efficient logistics process are vital. The entire chain, from procurement to sales, is in our control and therefore manageable. The guarantee for our food safety and professional working methods have been recorded in a number of certifications. One of them, one we are very proud of, is the IFS certificate: the highest you can achieve in terms of food safety.
PANGASIUS
Pangasius is a ray-finned fish from the giant catfish family, can be found in fresh and brackish water and prefers a tropical climate. Pangasius is an aqua-culture product and is bred in the Mekong delta of Vietnam. In shops, the fish is known as ‘Panga’. The fish is sustainably certified in accordance with the Blue Planet principles.
